In order to celebrate and kick off the Chinese New Year with joy and blessings, the lion dance and “Cai Qing” performance which was mostly anticipated by the residents of Ontolo had taken place on the third day of Chinese New Year! Apart from auspicious New Year greetings presented by Golden Pig and the eye-dotting performance presented by Dancing Lion, “Fortune Home Visit” was performed by Dancing Lion in front of units’ entrance of those residents who had participated the event, representing good fortune to home for embracing the new year together. The activity that day was certainly lively, which represented the arrival of prosperity and happiness on the estate throughout the new year!
Furthermore, “Fai Chun” Calligraphy Contest and Gold Leaf Carp Shaped Sticky Rice Cake Workshop had been arranged on the eve of Chinese New Year. “Fai Chun” traditionally symbolizes the household’s collective wish to sweep away the bad luck of the past year and invite hope and happiness into the new one; “Carp” is symbol of abundance, with the addition of gold leaf, it brings a touch of luxury which symbolizes wealth and good fortune. With these activities, we aim to deliver the warmest blessings for the Year of the Horse to every resident !
